Trash Off 2010
Spring cleaning time is here, and the City of Tishomingo will help with FREE street side pick up of non-garbage items such as clippings, limbs, and other items too large for poly-carts. All items will be picked up by the city crews except large appliances, appliances with Freon, and large tree trunks too large or bulky that the backhoe cannot pick up.
The city-wide trash pickup schedule is: April 16 - 22 for north of Main Street and east of Broadway Aveune
April 23 – 29 for south of Main Street and east of Broadway Avenue
April 30 - May 6 for north of Main Street and west of Broadway
Avenue
May 7 – May 14 for south of Main Street and west of Broadway Avenue
Also,
city residents can haul their own trash and dump for FREE at the solid
waste convenience center between April 16- May 14 .
The
Convenience Center is open Wednesday afternoon 1:00 p.m. to 5:00
p.m and Saturday morning 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and by appointment at
other times by calling city hall at 371-2369. Please bring a utility
stub or other type of utility receipt showing city residence.
